Product Description
Our company's White Willow Bark Extract Powder is extracted and spray-dried from white willow bark. White willow is dark gray, and its bark, branches, and stems can be used as medicine. The main active ingredient is salicin, which is a brownish-yellow or off-white fine powder with aspirin-like properties. Salicin is a potent anti-inflammatory ingredient. It is traditionally applied to heal wounds and relieve muscle pain. Current research has found that salicin is an inhibitor of NADPH oxidase, has an anti-wrinkle effect, increases skin radiance and elasticity, reduces pigmentation, and increases skin moisture. In cosmetics, it has anti-aging, exfoliating, oil control, acne treatment, and other skincare effects.

Gorgeous Health Benefits
White Willow Bark Extract Powder contains salicin, a chemical similar to aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid). Combined with the supplement's potent anti-inflammatory compounds called flavonoids, salicin is believed to be responsible for the pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects. Here are some gorgeous health benefits of our white willow bark powder for your reference:
★ Pain Relief: Studies have shown that salicin and other components of willow bark, including polyphenols and flavonoids, have antioxidant, antipyretic, antiseptic, and immune-boosting properties. Some studies show that at much lower doses, salicin powder is as effective as aspirin in reducing pain and inflammation.
★ Arthritis: The salicin in white willow bark powder also relieves discomfort and further reduces the production of prostaglandins in the nerves, and its anti-inflammatory properties help reduce painful inflammation in the joints.
★ Heart Health: Salicin powder has the same effect on the heart as aspirin because the salicylates in aspirin are derived from white willow bark powder. This means it can effectively lower the risk of heart attack and stroke.
★ Menstrual Cramps Relief: Painful menstrual cramps are usually caused by inflammation of the uterine lining and contractions triggered by prostaglandins. As we know, white willow bark regulates prostaglandin production and reduces inflammation, which not only helps relieve cramps but other PMS symptoms as well.
★ Skin Health: The potent antioxidant compounds found in white willow bark have been discovered to have a very positive impact on the skin. It increases blood flow to the skin, which provides much-needed nutrients and can reduce the appearance of wrinkles and age spots.
Recommended Dosage
White Willow Bark Extract Powder is available in a variety of dosage forms, including tablets, capsules, and so on. The general recommended intake for salicin is 60-120 mg per day. However, recent research suggests that higher intakes such as 240 mg per day may be more effective in treating pain. The above data is for reference only.
Possible Side Effects
Similar to aspirin, some people may experience gastrointestinal discomfort after taking salicin. People with ulcers and gastritis should avoid using this supplement. Also, like aspirin, white willow bark extract should not be used to treat fever in children.
