What are the Gypenosides?
Gypenosides are the main functional components of our Jiaogulan Extract Powder. It is the general term for more than 50 kinds of gypenosides extracted from Gynostemma pentaphyllum. Like ginsenosides, they belong to the group of tetracyclic triterpenoid saponins. Among them, gypenosides III, IV, VIII, and XII are the same substance as ginsenosides Rb1, Rb3, Rd, and F2, respectively. Gypenoside V-AH is equivalent to ginsenoside Rg3. This substance, like ginsenosides, also has great effects.
