Asarum Sieboldii Root Extract is the dried root extract of Asarum heterotropoides Fr. var. mandshuricum (Maxim.) Kitag., Asarum sieboldii Miq.var.seoulense Nakai, or Asarum sieboldii Miq. The main active ingredient is a volatile oil, which contains eugenol methyl ether, anise ketone, sassafras ether, β-pinene, asarone, etc. As volatile oil has a special aromatic odor, Asarum has been developed abroad as an anti-moth filler and an anti-mosquito raw material for building materials.
