Exceptional Cinnamon Oleoresin Manufacturer

Cinnamon Bark Oil (Cinnamon Oleoresin) is a brown oily liquid extracted from 40 mesh cinnamon powder by supercritical CO2. It has the same aroma and flavor as the raw cinnamon bark and has strong high-temperature resistance. Therefore, it can effectively replace cinnamon powder and be used in fields such as food, beverage, flavor, and fragrance.

Cinnamon Extract is our company's specialty product. We have developed Cinnamon Polyphenols, Cinnamon Oleoresin, Cinnamon Essential Oil, and Cinnamaldehyde Powder.

1. Cinnamon Polyphenols (10%, 20%, 30%) are used as raw materials for healthcare products and functional foods.

2. Cinnamon Oleoresin (60% cinnamaldehyde, 20 times concentrated aroma and flavor), supercritical CO2 extraction technology, widely used in the food industry, to replace cinnamon's volatile aroma and flavor.

3. Cinnamon Essential Oil (75% cinnamaldehyde distilled from cinnamon stems and leaves) is widely used in cosmetics and medical fields.

4. 10% cinnamaldehyde, powder, mainly used in medicine, health care products, and condiments.

The advantages of supercritical co2 extraction technology

The supercritical CO2 extraction process has the advantages of low operating temperature, strong solubility, non-toxicity, no pollution, no solvent residue, and easy separation of products. It overcomes the shortcomings of solvent extraction such as high-temperature distillation, oil oxidation, rancidity, etc., and does not require a refining process to remove impurities such as phospholipids, colloids, proteins, solvents, and odors. It is often used in the oil industry and can greatly maintain the original characteristics of the oil. So it is especially suitable for the separation and extraction of bioactive substances and heat-sensitive substances in the food industry.

Incredible Health Benefits

Cinnamon has been a popular spice for centuries, prized not only for its rich flavor but also for its various health benefits. Among the different forms of cinnamon, cinnamon oleoresin, commonly known as cinnamon bark extract oil, has gained attention for its potent medicinal properties.

★ Powerful Antioxidant Properties

Cinnamon oleoresin is loaded with antioxidants that help protect the body against oxidative stress caused by free radicals. These antioxidants, such as cinnamaldehyde, eugenol, and linalool, neutralize harmful compounds and reduce the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease, neurodegenerative disorders, and others.

Anti-Inflammatory Effects

Inflammation is a natural response by the body to protect against infection and injury. However, chronic inflammation can contribute to the development of many diseases. Cinnamon oleoresin contains anti-inflammatory compounds that help reduce inflammation in the body. By inhibiting the release of inflammatory markers, it may provide relief from conditions such as arthritis, asthma, and inflammatory bowel disease.

Blood Sugar Regulation

Cinnamon oleoresin has shown promising effects in regulating blood sugar levels. Several studies have demonstrated that it enhances insulin sensitivity, improves glucose metabolism, and helps lower fasting blood sugar levels. This makes it a valuable addition to the diet of individuals with type 2 diabetes or those at risk of developing the condition.

Supports Heart Health

The active compounds in cinnamon oleoresin have been linked to cardiovascular benefits. Research suggests that its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties help reduce cholesterol levels, lower blood pressure, and improve blood circulation. By promoting heart health, cinnamon oleoresin may reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke.

Antibacterial and Antifungal Properties

Cinnamon oleoresin possesses strong antimicrobial properties that can help fight against various bacterial and fungal infections. It has been found effective against common pathogens, including E. coli and Candida albicans. Incorporating cinnamon oleoresin into personal care products or using it as a natural disinfectant may provide an extra layer of protection against harmful microbes.

Digestive Support

Cinnamon oleoresin has traditionally been used to aid digestion and alleviate gastrointestinal discomfort. Its carminative properties help reduce gas, bloating, and indigestion. Moreover, it stimulates digestive enzymes, which can enhance the breakdown and absorption of nutrients.

Cognitive Function

Preliminary studies suggest that cinnamon oleoresin may have beneficial effects on brain health and cognitive function. The active components in cinnamon have been found to inhibit the formation of protein clumps associated with Alzheimer's disease and enhance memory and attention.

Cinnamon Oleoresin Applications

In Food

Cinnamon bark extract oil is widely used in the food industry and is often used as a food flavor, preservative, and mold inhibitor. It is also a good seasoning, used in instant noodles, ice cream, candy, beverages, bread, cakes, pastries, and other foods as an additive to improve taste and flavor. Cinnamaldehyde is non-toxic or low toxic to the human body, but it has a strong inhibitory effect on the reproduction of microorganisms. As a food preservative, it has a strong inhibitory effect on Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus niger, Penicillium citrinum, Fusarium moniliforme, Alternaria spp., Geotrichum candidum, yeast, etc.

In Chewing Gum and Toothpaste

Studies have shown that chewing gum containing cinnamaldehyde can inhibit the growth of more than 50% of bacteria in the oral cavity, thereby reducing the generation of bad breath. The inhibitory effect on the growth of bacteria on the back of the tongue is relatively more obvious. Cinnamaldehyde is often used in oral care products such as toothpaste, chewing gum, and breath fresheners because it can not only modulate various flavors but also has dual effects of sterilization and deodorization on the oral cavity.

In Perfume

Cinnamon Bark Oil is also often used as a key ingredient in perfumes. Almond, apricot, and other aromas can be created by mixing cinnamaldehyde with other fragrance compounds. As an aromatic compound, cinnamaldehyde has a good fragrance retention effect. It can be used as a seasoning raw material to make the main flavor more fragrant. It is also commonly used as a soap essence, which can be used to prepare essences such as gardenia, jasmine, lily of the valley, and rose. It can be used to make apple, cherry, and other fruit flavors in food flavors, as well as air fresheners, refrigerator deodorants, preservatives, and so on.

In Farm Chemical

In agriculture, cinnamon bark extract oil, which is high in cinnamaldehyde, is often used to kill fungi and protect and inhibit the roots of more than 40 crops. The low toxicity and special properties of cinnamaldehyde make it suitable for use as a pesticide. Cinnamaldehyde is also an effective insecticide, and its smell can even repel cats and dogs. Cinnamaldehyde has a significant effect on killing mosquito larvae, and the concentration is only 29ppm (Note: the ppm concentration is the concentration expressed by the ratio of solute mass to the total solution, also known as the concentration in parts per million). Cinnamaldehyde can kill 50% of Aedes aegypti larvae within 24 hours.

In the Farm Chemical Industry

In corrosive environments, cinnamaldehyde can also be used as an antirust agent for iron and steel, and other non-ferrous alloys. When mixed with other compounds, cinnamaldehyde can also be used as a dispersant, solvent, and surfactant.
